Synopsis:
Follow the adventures of young Jim Hawkins who sails the seas with Long John Silver in a quest to find buried treasure.
Based on the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novel this musical has plenty of laughs and catchy songs and is made for a large band of swashbuckling pirates!

Scene breakdown
Act 1
SONG Treasure Island
Scene 1 Billy Bones visits the Benbow Inn and tells young Jim Hawkins a tale of buried treasure.

Scene 2 Dr Liversey makes a grand entrance.

Scene 3 Blackdog finds Billy and there’s a fight.
Scene 4 Doctor examines Billy and proclaims him dead … drunk.
Scene 5 Billy is worried that his time is up.
Scene 6 Blindpew gives Billy the Black Spot.
Scene 7 Blindpew returns with other pirates to find the map.
SONG I may be Blind but I can See
Scene 8 The Doctor suggests taking the map to Squire Trelawney.
Scene 9 Squire Trelawney authenticates the map and offers to fund the voyage.
Scene 10 Many hopeful sailors (pirates) are lining the deck of the Hispaniola.
Long John Silver is doing the recruitment.

The Captain and crew are ready to depart.

Scene 11 The officers toast the voyage in the Admiral’s quarters.
Scene 12 The crew are getting anxious.

The Crow’s Nest reports they have spotted dry land.

Act 2
SONG Find the Chest
Scene 1 The pirates rejoice that they’ve found Treasure Island.
The officers try to leave them behind but Jim is captured.
Scene 2 The officers find out the truth about the crew.
Scene 3 Long John starts reducing the number of pirates on the island.
Scene 4 Jim meets Ben Gunn who was marooned on the island years ago.
SONG Talk to Me
Scene 5 Officers are held up in the Stockade
Scene 6 The pirates give Long John the Black Spot.
SONG Get on your knees and Pray
Scene 7 Pirates are scared away by Flinty’s ghost.
Happy ending, except for Long John.
