Synopsis:
This musical comedy creatively intertwines two classic Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: The Hound of the Baskervilles and A Scandal in Bohemia. The later features Irene Adler who manages to outsmart the infamous detective. Sherlock enlists the help of his younger sister Enola along with Dr Watson to solve the two mysteries.

Scene breakdown

Act 1

SONG It’s Elementary

Scene 1 Sherlock Holmes speculates about a visitor who left his walking stick in his office.

Scene 2 The visitor, Dr Mortimer, tells of the legend of the Hound of the Baskervilles and the recent, mysterious death of Charles Baskerville.

Scene 3 Holmes accepts the case to solve this mystery. He uses a map of the area to imagine that he’s there.

SONG No Secrets

Scene 4 The King of Bohemia visits, in very poor disguise, and gives Holmes his second case.

Miss Irene Adler has a photo of her with the King which may cause a scandal as he is to be married to someone else soon.

Scene 5 Holmes and Watson re-examine the clues provided by Dr Mortimer.

Scene 6 Holmes, Enola (his younger sister) and Watson case out Irene Adler’s house.

Scene 7 We meet Sir Henry Baskerville who has received a message, warning him to leave.

Scene 8 Holmes and Watson think they see a man who was following Sir Henry.

SONG Being Followed

Scene 9 Sir Henry’s shoe is missing from the Hotel. Holmes advises that he should ignore the warning and visit Baskerville Hall.

Scene 10 Irene Adler rushes to a church.

Scene 11 Our group is told to watch out for an escaped madman. They arrive at a dreary Baskerville Hall.

SONG This is my Home

Scene 12 Holmes, disguised as a priest, marries Irene Adler to Godfrey Norton. He attempts to find out where she has hidden the photo of her with the King.

Scene 13 Dr Watson meets the Stapletons. Beryl, thinks he is Sir Henry and warns him that he is in danger.

SONG Leave this Place

Scene 14 Beryl finally meets the real Sir Henry who is smitten with her.

SONG You were made for Me

Scene 15 Holmes and Enola trick their way into Irene Adler’s place.

Scene 16 We find out that the madman on the moors is the son of the housekeeper of Baskerville Hall.

Scene 17 The caretaker reveals that Sir Charles received a letter from someone with the initials LL asking him to meet them late at night.

Scene 18 Secret agent K gives Enola a special gadget to trap the Hound.

Scene 19 Dr Mortimer reveals the identity of the lady with the initials – LL.

Scene 20 Holmes tells the King of Bohemia that he knows where Irene Adler has hidden the photo.

Scene 21 Seldon sings about the strange things he has witnessed at night on the moors.

Scene 1 Dr Watson talks to LL.

Scene 2 Holmes discovers he was fooled by Irene Adler.

Scene 3 Dr Watson gets some information from Mr Frankland about
the mysterious man on the Moors.

Scene 4 Holmes reveals he didn’t remain in London. He also reveals the truth about
Beryl Stapelton. The Hound looks to claim another victim!

Scene 5 Holmes discovers Stapelton’s connection to the Baskerville family. He asks Henry to visit there tomorrow in hope of setting a trap.

SONG Don’t Stray from the Path

Scene 6 Holmes tells LL about Stapelton’s secret. A group forms to trap the Hound.

Scene 7 The case is solved.
